Cedric’s mission is to leverage his real life stories and experiences to show others how to overcome adversity and fear to reach their full potential and become the leader that others want to enthusiastically follow.  His “Successipe to Great Leadership” is a hit with companies and audiences around the world and he’s committed to continue in his efforts to make “In the Box” thinking about Leadership, Teamwork and Overcoming Adversity taboo and to expose the masses to the amazing possibility that’s already inside of them.  Also his mission is to Inspire, Motivate, Empower and Educate others and encourage them to live a life pushing and reaching for “GREAT” instead of “Average” and to also pursue creating a life of significance and a legacy worth duplicating.

Yes, Cedric’s passion is delivering Inspirational & Motivational Content to both adults and teenagers all over the world that are looking to accomplish their biggest goals and maintain a winning edge and sharpen their leadership and relational skills.   He feels that although the majority of our schools do a fairly descent job in educating and equipping people for the real world, there’s still a huge need to continue to learn and grow after one leaves the traditional educational system.  Cedric believes that education doesn’t end with graduation and the content of his presentations are even more effective when used comprehensively.

Cedric is oftentimes referred to as “The Formula Guy” because he has several time-tested formulas and tools that makes his message and content easier to digest and retain.  In addition, he shows his clients and audience attendees how to take advantage of the resources that are already inside of them and around them.  He believes in fostering  healthy  relationships and creating a community where people encourage each other to use their ideas, intellect and ingenuity to create value in the market place and to solve some of the lingering and pervasive problems of the country and the world.  Lastly, he desires to aid others in finding their passion, purpose and gift and exposing it to the world for good and not just to live life surviving, but to live life thriving and striving to leave a positive Legacy. “I want others to NOT just make a living but to live their making,” he says.

Personal History / Family Background

Born January 18, 1971 in Dallas, Texas (USA) the third born of four boys.  Grew up in the inner-city, rough part of Dallas in a 3 bedroom 1 bath, 650 sq. ft. home. Considered extremely high risk for juvenile criminal activity.

Father Bennie E. Crawford a general contractor (retired) and mother Geraldine Crawford a school teacher (deceased-2008).  Cedric currently lives in Bakersfield, California (USA) and has been married to Karen Ice-Crawford since 1997.  He is the very proud father of four kids (two girls and two boys).  Monique (age 21), Cedric Jr. (age 17), Chance (age 13) Chayse Marie (age 11), and Cedric prides himself as being a very active parent in family life and wants others to be able to enjoy the same.

Education & Achievements

High School:  Attended Lee G. Pinkston High in Dallas, TX.  He was the recipient of a nomination for the “Davey O’Brien Award” in Texas as student-athlete of the year in 1989. He held numerous titles including Student Body President, Mr. Pinkston and a member of the National Honors Society.

He excelled in participation on the Football Team, Basketball Team, Track Team, Swimming Team and the Mock-Trial Team.   He graduated fourth in his class of 1989 at L.G. Pinkston in spite of Pinkston having one of the highest dropout rates in the nation.

College: Received a full student-athlete scholarship to the University of UTAH in Salt Lake City, Utah (USA).  Received several team awards over his four years including Most Inspirational Player (MIP) and Team Captain in 1993.  Was the recipient of All-Conference Honorable Mention in football in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).  Led the team to two straight bowl games, the Copper Bowl in 1992 (Washington State) and the Freedom Bowl in 1993 (USC).

Graduated from the University of Utah in 1993 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mass Communications.  Was drafted by the Canadian Football League and played two seasons receiving several awards for outstanding performance.  Spent over 16 total seasons playing football with and against several great NFL players including;  Doug Flutie, Marshal Faulk, Drew Bledsoe, Jamal Anderson, Scott Mitchell, Luther Ellis, Anthony Calvillo, Kevin Dyson, Mike McCoy and many, many more.

Business Background

After spending 16 years playing the sport he loves with a passion,  Cedric Crawford laid down his cleats and took up his leadership skills in business.  Armed with a Bachelors Degree in Communications, he set on his journey to create a start-up company of his own with the vision to take it to heights that would sustain and support him and his family for many years to come.

Co-Founder of I.C. Properties, Inc:  He co-founded I.C. Properties, Inc.  I.C.P. Inc. is a real estate investing company that specializes in buying, selling, building and rehabilitating both residential and commercial properties primarily using private investor funds paying out high rates of returns to investors and securing their investments by mortgages.  Cedric was Instrumental in leading I.C.P. Inc. to becoming a highly profitable company by creating an automated system of performing the above listed functions.

Promotion Team Leader:  Cedric also joined forces with the fastest privately held billion dollar company, MonaVie, LLC, in creating a promotion team to promote revolutionary, nutritional products that have broken interactive distribution records in revenues generated.  With his help, the company has reached unprecedented and unparalleled growth in its category of the Functional Beverage Industry.  After only months of being involved with MonaVie, LLC, he has again used his Leadership Talents to create success for himself and others.  He and some members of his team of independent representatives have been successful in reaching the top 1% of the company.

Founder of “Signature Wear”:  Cedric continues to show his versatility and is not afraid to venture into various industries that are not related.  He currently owns two different Registered Trademarks and is currently developing a clothing line to brand the trademarks. (Signature Wear, Inc. a casual and sports clothing line featuring the logo of a squatting golfer in silhouette.)  The clothing line is due to make its debut in the next few months.

Charity Work:  Cedric also gives back to the community by donating his time and talents in various areas to creatively create revenue to support his charities.  He regularly leads a team down to Mexico to build and donate  houses to families in need.  He also acts as an active role model to several young men at a local group-home about 14 hours a week over the passed several years.
