Over the years I’ve uncovered and discovered that opportunities favorite disguise is behind a mask of struggle and difficulty and the untrained eyes and minds may be easily tricked into believing otherwise.

The interesting thing is that our Creator truly wants to equip us and make us stronger for what’s ahead of us in the days ahead and allowing challenges and difficulties in our life is just a creative way for Him to accomplish this without blowing his cover.

Yes my friends there is someone advocating for your wellbeing behind the scenes and He’s using creative means.  So take heart today and be not dismayed because all things are seamlessly working together for your good.  You just have to believe it and move forward with confidence to receive it.

Understanding this breadcrumb of wisdom can definitely get you one step closer to making it GREAT in the days ahead.  So, make it a GREAT week!

It took me several years to realize and recognize that success and significance are precious rewards gift-wrapped in an unattractive wrapping paper of struggle and adversity.

As a result, most people may confidently start the unwrapping process but eventually their physical eyes and lack of vision over time may cause them to lose interest and faith in the journey and quit before the unwrapping process can ever be completed.

It is for this reason I invite you to consider the following.  The pathway and process of getting to the levels of real significance in this life is fraught with struggle and adversity and may not be pretty, but understand that the precious reward for your persistence and perseverance is soooooo worth it in the end.

16 years ago today I “Jumped the Broom” and married my Karen Ice.  With a last name like “Ice” she had me caught cold.  Our union busted the myth that “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.”  Yes we met in Vegas 19 years ago, but we didn’t stay in Vegas.

A friendship that grew into a Family-ship and it really is getting better and better every year.  The smiles are real and I wouldn’t change the hand I have for nothing in the world. The Good, Bad, Happy, Sad, Ups, Downs, Highs and the Low’s is just the way it goes, but the Good definitely outways the Bad everyday of the week and twice on Sundays.
