Ok, I have a confession to make. The rumors are true. I do have a separate relationship with a few different Cougars in my life. Yep, you heard me right, I did say “Cougars”. But, these are NOT the type of Cougars that you may normally think of.

The Cougars I’m referring to are the older “Mentor-Cougars” in my life who have a wealth of knowledge and experience and are extremely well-versed in the game and the business of “life”.

These “Mentor Cougars” have taken a liking to me and continue to provide me with great information, critiques and advice that have been invaluable to me over the years. I’m very careful not to waste their time with non-sense, foolery and drama and I’m always careful to heed their warnings of things that I may struggle to see from my own perspective.

Yes my relationships with these Cougars are worth their weight in gold and I wouldn’t change them for the world. I also must admit that I’ve become a bit of a Cougar myself. 😉

Creating positive content and value for the next generation is absolutely imperative if we truly want to have a hand in determining our future. So, I invite you to consider being a “Cougar” to some young Lad or Ladette. You may even want to consider finding yourself a Cougar or two also. They can definitely come in handy for those of us who are on a path to Making it GREAT! It works for me.

That’s it!!! Enough is Enough!!! I’m gonna have to call the cops because there’s just too much stealing going on in my neighborhood.

Yep that’s right friends, somebody is about to get arrested LAPD style and drug-off to the pokey kicking and screaming and that somebody is these disrespectful “Joy-Stealers” I’m seeing here and there and everywhere nowadays. It’s about time that these rude, crude, prude dudes and dudettes be held accountable for their flagrant actions and disregard for others around them.

As far as I’m concerned stealing in any form is a crime and joy-stealing-thieves need to do the time or at least be made to pay a hefty fine. So if you’re letting your rough day get in the way of you being merry and gay and getting caught-up in the fray of causing others dismay, you better get ready to pay or be thrown in the pokey for a loooong stay. The Popo has been issued a BOLO (Be On the Look Out) and the “Joy-Stealers” gotta go. 🙂

Keep your joy in whatever you do and don’t let anyone steal it away from you with a harsh comment or inconsiderate action or two. Simply put, don’t let someone’s untimely offense put you on the defense and don’t let someone steal your joy just because they lost theirs. Just smile and move on humming your happy song as you try to get-along.

This breadcrumb of wisdom can definitely keep you on the path to Making it GREAT!

My wife uses words like “obsessed” and “addicted” when she refers to the time I invest in doing what I do. LOL…

Well, I make no apologies for my positive passion and I’ve humbly expressed to her that having an obsession or addiction that creates positive value for this hurting humanity has to be the exception of an acceptable case as long as it’s not at the expense of investing quality time with family. And, thank God she agrees. 🙂

While chatting with my 11-year-old daughter Chayse this morning I expressed to her the ongoing battle between good and evil and positive and negative. I advised her that for every positive person creating encouraging content there appears to be 10 that are creating negative content. So, for this reason we positive creationist have to work 10 times as hard to keep up the offset of the negative but it is indeed a labor that is absolutely worth it.

So, if “addicted” and “obsessed” are words that describe your positive passions, I encourage you to “Rock-on with your bad self” and keep Making it GREAT. We need you now more than ever before to inspirate, motivate, encourage and educate in every state to Make it GREAT!

Well, it’s official! I just filed my first official restraining order. “Against whom?” you might ask. Well, it’s really not a specific “Whom”. It’s more of a collective “What” and that “What” is called “Negativity”.

Yes that’s right folks, all of those Negative-Nancy’s & Harmful-Harry’s out there need to keep a safe distance of at least 100 feet away from me or run the risk of being splashed in the face with a huge dose of positivity from Mr. Make-it-GREAT himself. 🙂

Here’s a quick tip for those who find that the above description fits them a bit:

When it comes to being a loving, kind, encouraging and compassionate person, it’s okay to “fake it ’til you make it”. That’s right my friends, if you’re an old sourpuss, pessimistic Debbie-Downer or Larry-Loser that finds it hard to say or do anything positive or uplifting for others, then start pretending you’re someone else with positive traits.

As a professional positive person I must warn you that being positive may hurt a bit at first but eventually it gets easier to do. Commit to do a little bit of this on a daily basis and don’t be surprised when you eventually start to find that you’re becoming that new and improved positive person that other people gravitate to and genuinely like being around.

Now get on out there and “fake it ’til you make it” and Make it GREAT!!! We’re counting on you to join the encouragement crew.
