I’ve been thinking lately about the many religions and spiritual beliefs that now exist in this world of ours and how these differences in beliefs and ideologies have been one of the biggest catalyst of almost every war in history. Despite this tragic fact there are still some religious groups in existence whose ultimate purpose and goal is to convert or kill.

To that end, one must honestly ask themselves the question of, “Would a merciful, loving Creator create us endowed with free-will and inalienable rights and then change his mind and give others His blessing to kill all those who uses their “free-will” to say and believe otherwise?” I think not.

At the end of the day, I may not always like or support what you say or believe, but I will ALWAYS support your right to say it and believe it, Period.

Above all else, I choose love, kindness and mutual respect as I attempt to Make this “good” life, GREAT! Dare to join me.

Sometimes the scariest person we could ever be left alone with may actually be ourselves. That’s right my friends that guy or gal that’s staring right back at us in the mirror knows everything about us. Our weaknesses, our flaws, our vices and past falls, yes he/she knows them all and will not hesitate to leverage them to get what he/she wants.

So the next time it’s just you, the four walls and the pet cat or dog, what will you do to keep standing tall? Hmmm… No need to answer here out loud, just make us proud and don’t follow the crowd.

Yes my friends there is no “enemy” tougher than our “inner-me” so don’t get-ready, stay-ready to do battle with that gal or guy who’s always standing by waiting for another try. Develop a game-plan in advance that will help you take your stance because you may not get a second chance.

Let’s keep leaning forward and make this week so awesome that last week gets insanely jealous. Let’s Make it GREAT!!!

Ever heard the phrase, “If you can’t beat’em, join’em”? Well, when you’re on a mission to model kindness, compassion and generosity in a world full of evil, cruelty and greed, the last thing you want to ever consider doing is “joining’em”.

That’s right my friends, on our journey through this thing called “life”, the only way evil can thrive and grow is if we as “good” men and women join the other team or standby idle with our arms folded and do nothing but call names and complain.

Well to this I emphatically say, “Not us!!!” We will stand firm in the face of those who perpetuate and perpetrate evil and negativity and make our proclamation and bold statement of, “We will NOT back down from our duty to be the change that we want to see in this world of ours.”

We understand clearly that it is our words and actions that create our world and define our passions. NO, we will NEVER “join’em”. We will stay the course on our unpopular journey to “beat’em” for we know that in the end we cannot lose for the one who has created us all has given us unfair favor and made his face to shine upon us!

So I boldly encourage you on this glorious day to stay the course, Stay The Course, STAY THE COURSE!!! And, Make it GREAT!!!

Over the years I’ve learned that one of the best test of a person’s true character is how they treat others behind the scenes who can do absolutely nothing for them. Yes my friends the true marker and measure of one’s genuine character comes by a person’s actions and treatment of another of seemingly lessor status when they think no ones looking.

The absence of the watchful eye of the general public creates a sense of safety and many will let their false-face and guard down and let their true self and character show. So to this I invite you to consider doing the following:

We must not be so quick to accept what we see in public as an accurate depiction and representation of a person’s true colors in private. You’d be shocked and amazed at what you really don’t know about a person’s behavior outside of the public’s eye.

So my prayer for you today is, may our private face be congruent with our public face every day of the week and twice on Sundays while we’re on our way to Making it GREAT! This gives a whole new meaning to “What you see is what you get”.

Life’s Laws and Life’s Lessons will always be at play in the game of life and the more we ignore one the more we will experience the other. Yes that’s right friends, the more we ignore Life’s Laws the more we will have to experience Life’s Lessons firsthand. Experience may be the best teacher but being proactive in life to avoid some of its tough lessons is just plain-ole’ smart if you ask me. 😉

The Law of Association, the Law of Reciprocity and the Law of Attraction are just a few laws that come to mind that can be leveraged to make your mistakes of tomorrow much less than your mistakes of yesterday and today.

Don’t know about these laws? Well, as they say, “ignorance of the law is no excuse”. So we must all make an intentional effort to uncover and discover what these Life Laws are all about so we can avoid some of these major Life Lessons in the unpredictable days ahead.
