You ever try to make somebodies day and they end-up making yours?
Stopped by Panda Express today for a little “Chat & Chew” with two of my kiddos and we saw this wonderful-woman sitting outside alone asking for a little money for a bite to eat.
So, we took this as yet another opportunity to be the face, the feet & the mouthpiece of Kindness. A bowl of half & half with orange chicken was her choice.
We thought this was a very small price to pay for an opportunity to sit and have lunch with her to hear about her life’s ups & downs.
“How can we pray for you,” was our question and she simply said, “Pray for my strength through my struggle.”
DONE!!!
Yep, our friend Lashawn may be homeless but she’s NOT Hopeless. 😉
