VIRUS ALERT!!!  I feel obligated to advise you that I have been severely infected by an airborne and internet driven virus of “positivity”, and I am highly contagious.  The National Center of Disease Control has advised me that there is no known cure for what I have and I’m perfectly Ok with it.  Strangely enough, I am proud to be known as the host carrier for this aggressive virus and I’ve come up with a fascinating idea. 

I figure that with all the unsavory characters out there in cyberspace trying to negatively affect and infect our lives on the internet, my mission is to take this indestructible virus of “positivity” and push it to epidemic proportions and cause worldwide positive panic and pandemonium.  I readily admit that I am already guilty of infecting thousands so far and have an ambitious goal to positively infect billions on this great planet of ours before the time of this world is up.  

My dream is to create a worldwide community of positively infected people both young and not-so-young that are committed to dumping more and more positivity into this world to balance out all those brokers of negativity.  I fully understand that negatives develop in dark areas so I intend to shine a positive light for the world to see in some of the darkest areas.  I’m absolutely convinced that my mission is noble and just and will undoubtedly make this world much better today and tomorrow than it was yesterday.  

I had a blood test done at my doctors office not long ago and I found out that my blood type is B+ (be positive).  So I guess I can really say that “being positive” really is in my blood.  LOL    🙂    For you B- (be negative) and A- (A negative) people out there, please keep your distance unless you’re ready for a complete transfusion and overhaul.  If you’re A+ (A positive) person, then I’d love to welcome you into my circle of friends.  Feel free to become a member of our positivity club on my website right now @:  www.CedricCrawford.com.  

There’s no stopping us now for this movement has taken on its own viral personality and more and more severe cases of infection are being reported daily.  YAYYY!!!  Again, don’t get too close to me or you’ll definitely get sprinkled too.

Ok, I’m not sure who this post is for today, but I feel led to encourage someone to cheer up and realize that it’s not your fault that you were born with a heart that’s capable of trusting to the point of exposing yourself to emotional heartbreak and harm.

It’s not your fault that many have taken for granted your ability to be loving and forgiving to the point of being taken advantage of again-and-again.  It’s not your fault for being born with a spirit that desires to please and bring joy to others.  So erase any thoughts that you’re less than adequate when it comes to attracting and keeping a good mate.  They were all just incapable of realizing and recognizing their “good thing” in you and that’s not your fault.

These characteristics are rare and admirable and something to be proud of and soon the day will come when you’re given your hearty approbation and affirmation of appreciation.   The day will come when you’ll breathe a sigh of relief as your faithfulness and trustworthiness is reciprocated.   The day will come when you’ll truly smile and say, “I am enough and a worthy companion is just a plus.”

I encourage you today to hang in there and refuse to let hardships, hang-ups, heartbreaks and hard-times bully you into changing your attitude and the essence of who you really are.  Your true “You” will indeed get you through without major compromise.  So, don’t give up on trusting yourself and continue to be yourself,  “B-U“.

Know and understand today that none of us are without flaws and imperfections and it’s our flaws and imperfections that make us perfect for that perfectly, imperfect person.   So continue to patiently “B – U” and it’ll see you through, after all, everybody else is already taken.  Let’s continue to make it GREAT!

Like a 4^th brother to me he was not just the tall dark and handsome type, but he also had the natural athletic ability like none-other that I’ve seen to-date. 

Blessed with the super-powers possessed by many animals in nature, he was fast as a gazelle, strong as an ox and tough as a razor-claw badger.  But being stubborn as a mule and angry and uncontrollable as a bull would ultimately lead to his demise and undoing. 

Stanley was his name and his story is a textbook example of how when we let our “inner green hulk of rage” rule and run our lives, it will ultimately lead to our ruin.

As a kid I vividly remember Stanley started coming around our house in the rough neighborhood of West Dallas, Texas.  He was a delightful guy one year older than me and always looking to do something fun and adventurous with me and my brothers.  He instantly bonded with the four of us and ultimately became like my Dad’s 5^th son.  It didn’t take long after that for his true colors and anger and unwavering need for control to rear its ugly head slowly over time.
