Fraught with good intentions are the days created by dreams of grandeur and massive success during the night, but only proper, consistent action in the moment makes the dream become reality.

Many are those who seek the desires of their heart but few are those who embody the focus, discipline and tools it takes to be counted amongst those who claim true victory and success.  The good news is we all can have it if we so choice because these tools and skills are readily accessible and available to us all.  The catch is, these invaluable, irreplaceable tools and skills have no feet so they can not and will not come to us. We have to be willing to get up and go seek them out.

I’m not sure what your hearts desire is, but if it lends to being noble and just in the area of service to a hurting humanity, I pray that your best efforts and attention will be given at its full in your pursuit.  May success in your noble endeavor visit soon and often.

I encourage you to keep leaning forward in the days ahead and take these bread crumb nuggets of wisdom and make them GREAT!

While reviewing the keyword section of my soon-to-be-released book today (Bread Crumbs to Making it GREAT) I came across the words “tragedy” and “triumph.” After looking at these two words closer, I realized they both have something in common. They both have seven letters.  Hmmm…  While this didn’t really carry any significance I discovered something else does.

I looked them up in the dictionary and realized they’re only 13 pages away from each other. One is defined as “Morally significant struggle ending in profound disappointment,” and the other is defined as, “To receive honors upon return from a victory.” Well, naturally this got me to thinking how this relates to us.  As a result I invite you to consider the following parallel.

As we traverse this life we are all destined to eventually have a head-on collision with some form of tragedy or profound disappointment.  But take heart and find comfort in knowing that triumph is only 13 pages away. If you maintain your faith, hope and unshakeable belief that in all things you can endure and overcome, you too shall eventually receive your honors upon returning with your victory.  So, FIGHT ON!!!  I say.

There’s a mental war that wages on in the mind of us all.  It’s a never-ending battle between our big beliefs and perceived limitations.  The unfortunate truth is we live in a world that reminds us of limitations much more than encouraging us to have big belief in our capabilities.  Hmmm…  But take heart today my friends for it does not have to be this way.
