I’ve been doing that “thinking” thing again today and I’ve come up with another truth that I’d like to share with you. It seems to me that the most common crime in the world is the theft of someone’s dream. The most interesting thing about this violation is that the robber usually shares the same last name as the victim, yet the crime is almost never reported. The even more interesting fact is that most robbers don’t even know they’re committing the crime. But, I’ve also heard that ignorance of the law is no excuse. Or is it? Hmmm…
Well, for those of you who are reading this entry today, you can no longer plead “ignorance” of the law for you have been hereby “Put on Notice” of the negative effects of such dastardly deeds. We must be careful of what we say to others because I believe we can and will be held personally liable for any and all goals and dreams that we play a part in robbing or stealing from those unsuspecting individuals that are relying and counting on our support for them to win and succeed.
So I say to you today, for all of you who have a goal or dream that you’re in hot pursuit of, be sure to protect your dream from those would-be robbers who are quick to shoot down your dream with a reckless comment or partial truth or opinion that’s not based in fact. Be advised that they may mean well but they’re doing more harm to you than good. So, forgive them in advance for they know not what they do.
In any cause that is noble and just, we must choose to use the negative comments from the naysayers as fuel to propel us forward in our quest for victory. So I say to you dreamers today, be encouraged and boldly move forward with confidence and delete the negative comments from those nasty naysayers and dream stealers and press forward as you attempt to make this good day a GREAT DAY!
