Paying it forward is good, but paying it backwards in the drive-thru at your favorite fast-food restaurant can be even BETTER!!!
Yes my friends, in order to “Pay it Forward” there has to be someone willing to start the process by “Paying it Backwards”.
I was in the drive-thru at one of my favorite spots today and I thought I’d take the opportunity to bless the unknown person behind me by paying for their order.
“Ahhh, that’s so sweet.” said Taylor the cashier as she took my payment. “Would you like a drink for Free from me?” I then gave her one of my Big Smiles and said, “Sure, I’ll take a nice refreshing lemonade please.”
It never ceases to amaze me when I witness how kindness begets kindness. I’m not sure how many total lives were blessed by this gesture today, but I’m sure it blessed mine. LOL…
When it comes to this “Kindness” thing, don’t miss your opportunity to not just “Pay it forward”, but also be willing to “Pay it Backwards” to that unknown person behind you in the drive-thru. They’ll be glad you did. Oh, and you will too. 😉
Oh… Warning: This Kindness thing can be intoxicating and addicting too, so be careful are you might end up a full-blown addict like I am… 😉
