Words in any language will always be inadequate to express how grateful the Living are for those who died securing freedoms that they enjoy.

Actions of any kind shall always fall short of adequately depicting and demonstrating the depth and degree of the appreciation we feel for those who took a solemn vow to willingly place themselves in harm’s way and paid the ultimate price so that we would not have to do the same.

So when our words pale and our actions fail, I invite you to consider just standing still to pay your heartfelt, sincere respects in reverent silence and let your soul lead the way to expressing your gratitude. Something tells me that our fallen hero’s just might be able to hear our grateful heart and feel our thankful souls and gently smile back at us in a whisper of the wind and a babies subtle grin. 🙂
